I have had a love of art, beauty products and crafts for as long as I can remember. There is a certain joy to learning something new and becoming at least moderately skilled in its performance to the point that you are proud of your work. Nail Art: first attempt at Cherry Blossoms
So a couple of weeks ago I decided to try a really cute nail design from LOVE4NAILS (one of my favorite youtube nail artists) click to view the vid that inspired me Lets just say....it didn't go so well the first time!
For this I used a regular clear OPI basecoat, then I applied Mermaid's Tears by OPI to the tips. I then painted the branches and flowers with a liner brush and some black, pink and white acrylic craft paint. Not my best work, but it was my first and I wore it proudly for a few days!
